Welcome to my practice! I am a licensed psychologist and psychological consultant.  I earned my Masters and Doctorate degrees at the University of Oregon in Counseling Psychology, and for the past 25 years I have worked in private practice and consultative settings helping adolescents and adults of all ages manage anxiety and mood disorders, eating disorders, relational challenges, life transitions, and trauma.  Before private practice I served as lead psychologist in adolescent residential and day treatment centers and was clinical director of a family therapy and cognitive behavioral treatment research program for adolescents at the Oregon Research Institute.

My theoretical approach blends Eastern and Western psychological traditions to help identify and shift deeply conditioned beliefs and patterns.  I believe change happens when we both understand how a pattern developed and practice new ways of responding that feel sustainable, more adaptive, and authentic.

In session I work collaboratively and compassionately, tailoring treatment to each person’s needs.  I draw from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness based approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), systems theory, family-of-origin work, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and neuroscience-informed strategies to create an integrative, practical plan for healing and growth.
